苗代川焼（なえしろがわやき）は、現存する薩摩焼の三系統のひとつであり、その中でも最も古い歴史を持つ伝統的な窯です。長い年月にわたり受け継がれてきた技法と美意識を今に伝えています。荒木陶窯の登録商標でもあり、正統な系譜を持つ薩摩焼として知られています。
Naeshirogawa ware is one of the three surviving lineages of Satsuma-yaki and is the oldest among them. It is a traditional kiln that preserves techniques and aesthetics handed down through generations. It is also a registered trademark of ArakiToyo and is recognized as an authentic lineage of Satsuma ware.

そば釉（そばゆう）は、荒木陶窯のオリジナルであり、14代荒木幹二郎が生涯をかけて生み出した天然の釉薬です。マットな質感の緑色が特徴で、落ち着いた控えめな美しさが高く評価されています。薩摩焼の伝統の中で培われた技術と美意識を背景に持つ釉薬です。
Soba glaze (sobayu) is an original creation of Araki Touen, developed over a lifetime by the 14th-generation Kanjiro Araki. It features a matte green finish and is highly regarded for its calm, understated beauty, rooted in the tradition and aesthetics of Satsuma ware.

焼成の過程で自然に生まれるわずかな色の揺らぎにより、器ごとに奥行きと柔らかな質感が生まれます。そのため同じものは二つとなく、一点ごとに異なる表情を楽しめます。
