「黒茶家」とは薩摩地方独特の呼び名で、土瓶のことです。総称として茶家(ちょか)と呼びますが、上に黒・白などが付くと「黒じょか」という風になります。
その中で焼酎を楽しむために進化したものを焼酎じょか、通称・黒じょかといいます。
呑み方のご紹介
前日に焼酎と水をお好きな割合で割ったものも用意します。
呑む直前に、茶家に移して固形燃料(炉をつかいます)やガス火(極弱火)で軽く温めます。
黒茶家は保温性が高いので火傷には十分にお気を付けください。
電子レンジは使用できません(つる・持ち手の部分には鉄芯が入っています)

"Kurojoka/ Black sakepot"is a term unique to the Satsuma region, referring to a type of earthenware teapot. It is generally called "choka," but when prefixed with colors like black or white, it becomes "kurojoka." Among these, the teapot evolved for enjoying shochu is called "shochu jokka," commonly known as "kurojoka." For drinking, prepare a mixture of shochu and water in your preferred ratio the day before. Just before drinking, transfer it to the teapot and gently warm it using solid fuel (with a stove) or a very low gas flame. Since "Kurojoka" have high heat retention, be cautious of burns. Do not use a microwave, as the handle and spout contain metal cores.

□ 黒薩摩とは? Black Satsuma

「黒もん」と呼ばれ、親しまれる黒薩摩。
黒い釉薬で仕上げた薩摩焼。元々、白薩摩はお殿様ご用達であったのに対し、黒薩摩は庶民の日常品として発展してきました。
The black Satsuma, affectionately known as "kuromon," is a beloved type of Satsuma ware finished with a black glaze. Originally, white Satsuma was favored by the nobility, whereas black Satsuma developed as everyday ware for the common people.

□ 苗代川(なえしろがわ)焼 Naeshirogawa-Yaki

現存する薩摩焼の3系統のひとつで一番古く歴史がある。荒木陶窯の登録商標となっている。
One of the three existing types of Satsuma ware, it is the oldest in history and is a registered trademark of the Araki-toyo Kiln.
